A special Girl Action event (arranged by the L-Wired team who are about to host their formal launch on Thursday 8 March at The Piccadilly Institute) in aid of Diversity Role Models took the Planet London team to Centro club, near Holborn.
A great space, for which the event had sole use, over 3 floors, with a large dance space on the ground floor and a neat, intimate, comfy seated area upstairs which was used as VIP space for Mint cardholders. The cloakroom and toilets were on the lower level.
There were drinks offers until 10pm which offered very good value (2 glasses of wine, beer or Wicked Blue for £2.50).
The event had a good mix of DJs (MoniCa Dee, Yvette Lindquist, Miss Cupcake, DJ Kacey & Sipz C-dj) and offered rocking house tunes that kept the wanna be dancers happy. As if that wasn't enough, there was also entertainment in the form of Girl Roc, an all girl dance dance troop who play with fire and also do stunts! They definitely thrilled the crowd!
It was great to be able to support such a hard working charity in style with a fabulous night out!
